Tim Wau is our host in Nias. He is a respected local surfer, captain, photographer, fisherman, family man, and operator of Keyhole Surf Camp on the point in Lagundri Bay. Tim speaks English and has been guiding surfers through these islands for over 10 years. He can arrange guided trips to all of this areas many surf spots.
Indo
Indonesia has a dry season which lasts approximately May through September. The rest of the year it rains regularly but not too heavily to prevent a good vacation. For surfers, the dry season is most consistent and winds typically blow from the SE, though winds are more variable near the equator. The wet season has waves too, with no crowd factor. For big, pumping waves, June through August might be your best bet, but good waves can be had throughout the year for surfers of all abilities. Please contact us for additional information.
